Wet weather expected in J&K in coming days - MET


Jammu and Kashmir experienced dry weather over the past 24 hours, but the Meteorological Department has predicted scattered to moderately widespread light rain or snowfall for Sunday. An official from the MeT department stated that the next 24 hours in J&K are likely to see light rain or snowfall that will be scattered to fairly widespread. The minimum temperatures today were 7.3 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, 3.2 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam, and minus 1.6 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg. Meanwhile, in the Ladakh region, Drass town recorded a minimum temperature of minus 10.1 degrees Celsius, Kargil had a minimum temperature of minus 8.2 degrees Celsius, and Leh had a minimum temperature of minus 6.6 degrees Celsius. In Jammu, the minimum temperatures were 12.5 degrees Celsius, while Katra recorded a minimum temperature of 13.1 degrees Celsius, Batote had a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, Banihal recorded a minimum temperature of 7.4 degrees Celsius, and Bhaderwah had a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius.
