YouTube earnings are kept separate from Google AdSense earnings

 A dedicated AdSense for YouTube homepage is also being added to the platform, along with separate payment thresholds.

YouTube earnings will now go into its own Google AdSense for YouTube homepage and payment account, according to a company announcement on Wednesday. The change takes effect in March and will continue over the coming months.
Google first notified YouTube publishers about this change in January with an email.
Google will soon stop including YouTube earnings alongside AdSense earnings. By notifying colleagues and/or stakeholders of this change, confusion can be reduced when the changes are implemented.
These earnings aren't actually decreased for AdSense publishers, they're simply reorganized. The payment thresholds for AdSense and YouTube have been increased, so it may take some time for some to reach the thresholds.
Separate payment thresholds. Hence, YouTube earnings will be chunked into its own payments account, so that YouTube and AdSense payment thresholds will be separate. In some cases, this could result in more time needed to reach the payment threshold, thus affecting payment timing.
